It always comes too quickly, doesn’t it?! I LOVE Christmas Card season, like a lot a lot. But I also really love summer. And the pool and the heat and the time off from busyness. So while I hesitate to do so, I put this out there for those of you buying your school calendars and plotting out the fastest four months of the year, to get on your calendars because pictures are, after all, and arguably, a ‘top three’ for the holiday season (and for me, it’s at the tippy top of my list ;).

The locations in the photos below ARE the locations for that date, pending no natural disasters that take them out :)

This year there are a couple of options, hopefully offering flexibility to meet everyone’s needs! When you are ready to book, you can VENMO ERICA (last four digits -0954) with the session date in the description (you can text me first to confirm availability if you’d like, payment secures your spot).

Option One: Children’s Mini | $230 | November 11 & 20

Just the kids. Sometimes it is JUST EASIER to just photograph the kids. They are easier to get clothing for, easier to get ready, and it makes the whole picture taking event go a little more smoothly when it’s just them. This mini is also a tad longer, and has a little flexibility at the end for the little babes who need a little extra time warming up to new people. These are offered on Wednesdays, late afternoon, but if you don’t mind being flexible, with a little notice I can get you in on a weekend, just email me once you book to be put on a list :) This is the sweetest little spot in North Raleigh.

Option Two: Christmas Mini | $200 | November 9 & 17

This is the set-up! A red velvet chair and red velvet bows… Christmas should be this simple! These 10-minute sessions are quick and painless, and of course include ALL digital files. We will get the whole family, individual children, siblings, mom&dad, and lots of love & snuggles & of course everyone looking, too. This is a quiet little spot in North Raleigh. I can add an October date and/or early December with enough interest!

Option Three: Morning Christmas Mini | $200 | November 3 (SOLD OUT) & 10

I am trying something new this year! I LOVE this spot for the stings of lights, the neutral but elegant architecture, and all the details & layers & textures! This is a busy place, but Sunday mornings are nice and quiet. These will take place after daylight savings (I’m sorry!) so that means they will be bright and early (think 7am, but I will try to make them as late as possible before the sun makes it too bright for my liking. This image was taken nearly ten years ago if you can even believe that! I hope to see a few of you here this year! It is so fun! North Raleigh.

Option Four: Fall Mini | $300 | October 26 & November 2

As much as I love the Christmas minis, I sure do love the fall minis. Another amazing little spot, no people, no cars (and a playground for afterwards!) in North Raleigh. If Mother Nature follows her regular programming, this will be the coloring over the two weekends these are scheduled! But please note that it could be quite different, and as beautiful and amazing as the colors are, it is YOUR FAMILY that makes the pictures BEAUTIFUL <3 And regardless, the trees, the leaves, the layers & textures are all SO gorgeous in the fall, no matter what! But my prayers will be going up for a scene like this ;)

All of the Saturday Minis have a rain date of the NEXT DAY, Sunday at the same time. Your specific time for your session will go out 1-2 weeks before the session. All sessions will typically take place in the 3:30-5:30 time frame, pending daylight savings, and the specific location. If you need to be the first or the last for the day you sign up for, send me an email and I will do my best to accommodate you! Thank you for your patience with my ‘perfectionist’ timing on sessions, and wanting the light to be absolutely perfect for your session which means making the call a week out instead of in July when I can only guess what the sun, weather, leaves, etc will be doing in four months ;)

These sessions are for YOU! And I hope that what you get from Erica Mulford Photography that is very different from all the other photographers is that I care about giving you the best session, images and attention more than I care about making a lot of money. That I never want a client to be #35+ on an editing list that will take weeks to deliver. That I will never ever say, that you have to pay for extra images and that you have to narrow down your gallery. I will also never take pictures in poor light or where there are a bunch of other people just to get as many families in as possible. You are never just a number or a paycheck to me. I appreciate you, thank you, and always hope to deliver a fun (although quick) session with images you will always cherish!

Also! I will have a couple of weekend dates for Full & Extended Family Sessions if you would like a slower-paced, all-the-love-and-cuddles, lifestyle session that I LOVE to take, edit and deliver <3
